Joe Marshall: "To have a good ear" generally means to be skilled at detecting and rendering nuances in music or language. I am a teacher at a small college in Norway and I created this blog to help my students develop a "good ear" in English, but the posts here are intended to give any reader regular opportunities to engage with the language and a wide variety of interesting topics.
