Here are some rules for using prepositions in English, a list of examples and some exercises to help you master their use. Remember, the prepositions in English aren't always the same as in Norwegian. For example, "på" isn't always "on". "Jeg var på kaféen." isn't translated "I was on the café." Unless you climbed up on the roof of the café to have your latté, "at the café" would be more appropiate here.
